Let me tell you a little bit about me.........

I was born in Melbourne and educated in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Melbourne University, where I completed a double major in English Language and Literature and French Language and Literature. I did post-grad training in retail management, and have worked in the sharebroking and retail industries. I have devoted many hours over the last twenty years to volunteer work, holding positions of responsibility and trust. I am a trained marriage celebrant, with the relevant qualification from the Certificate 1V in Marriage Celebrancy, which is required by the Commonwealth Government of Australia for authorisation.

I have been married for twenty-eight years, and have two young adult children who keep me energetic and young at heart. My family is my greatest joy (apart from marriage celebrancy, of course!). My other passions include skiing and hiking in the mountains, theatre and literature, movies and music, art and art history, and the unmissable Friday cryptic crossword. I maintain an active interest in French language, and what else?........ oh well, I love snow and crisp mountain air, salt air, beaches and boats, and long early morning walks in my neighbourhood, when the world is dewy and the lorikeets are up with the sun. The gym (groan) keeps me in form. And we all need a holiday, don’t we?  I love to take time out to travel to remote and beautiful places. Life is beautiful!
